About the Role:
Skyframe is looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Labor and Woodworking specialist in Hillside, NJ. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our picture framing operation, where craftsmanship meets creativity every day. Responsibilities:
- Cut, shape, and assemble wooden picture frames according to specifications
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Measure and miter frame components with precision and accuracy
- Sand, finish, and prepare frames for final assembly or painting
- Assist with general warehouse and production floor duties as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Inspect finished products for quality control and craftsmanship standards
Requirements:
- Prior experience in woodworking, carpentry, or a related trade preferred
- Ability to safely operate power tools, saws, and woodworking equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately
